“More of a happy family visit, than an impersonal motel room.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

We have traveled quite a few times to Page, Arizona (living not too far away). Experienced hotels, motels, campground, & boat/house boat vacations. All different. This trip, we wanted a unique experience, so chose the Rose Walk Inn B & B based on all the positive comments about how friendly Jim & Verda are. How warmly you are welcomed into their HOME, far different from a business! This HOME is in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants & a killer view of the lake. Jim and Verda do their very best to be friendly and helpful. This B&B is a work in progress, our room was still being decorated, and they have plans for more expansion as years go by. One darling little grandson was visiting and we really enjoyed playing with him. If you are at all homesick and want to rest awhile with a loving family, this is the place! Unlike a tourist, for three days we felt as if we (almost) lived right in Page, and it felt good! One huge benefit of travel is to experience new things, get into the "culture" of the area. Try it, you'll like it!

Room Tip: We only stayed in the upstairs room (with private bath). I didn't see the downstairs rooms. If...

Jim and Verda make you feel at home and the pancakes are delicious.
My friend and I were only there one night, but our stay was enjoyable and they pointed out the best sights to see in the short period of time we had.
The beds are a little too soft for my taste, but preferances differ.

I'm finishing a two-week stay with Jim and Verda Geiger at their Rose Walk B&B; so I have plenty of experience to draw from when I say that if you are coming to the Lake Powell/Page, AZ area,r
you will find these the most accommodating hosts that you have ever found. They directed me to the most attentive and professional guides/tours, clear directions to find near-by attractions, the best restaurants, and where to find those unique items for remembering a fabulous vacation. Verda is a wonderful cook and graciously offers her recipe for her delightful pancakes and delicious home-made syrup. All I had to do was simply mention a preference, and there it was the next morning for breakfast.
These two weeks have been filled with travel, photography excursions, explorations of the area and unexpected adventures all while feeling at home and comfortable to come and go as I wished. When I'd return, they both eagerly wanted to know the details and to share the enthusiasm of someone experiencing something for the first time.

Room Tip: Any room at Rose Walk B&B is a good room.

We planned our trip to AZ for the week of Oct 6. Our original plan had been to travel from Zion National Park with a stay in Page to visit Anteloupe Canyon and Lake Powell. Due to the government shut down, we could only travel through the Park. We arrived in Page as planned and stayed with Jim and Verda at the Rose Walk Inn. We were treated with the utmost hospitality. Jim arranged for our trip to Anteloupe Canyon, advised us to take in the local museum and go to Horseshoe Bend for hiking and photos. Even though we did not get to Lake Powell, we took in many other beautiful sites. They also suggested several local restaurants, and they were a hit as well. We were treated to wonderful breakfasts, and yes, we did get the recipe for those special pancakes and syrup. As we packed up to leave, we decided on Monument Valley. The drive from Page was also beautiful; such an immense country we have in America. Thanks for a truly memorable visit. Your Mississippi Friends, Gene and Susan.

We stayed 2 nights at the Rose Walk Inn. Jim and Verda were so welcoming and helpful to us. I had a ton of questions about tours, places to eat and driving routes to Page (especially in light of the 89A closure) and Jim answered them all; even before our stay.

It was really nice to come back to a home and converse with locals.

Oh.....and the breakfasts really are that good.

We had a wonderful time at the Rose Walk Inn. Jim and Verda are good hosts, and this is a good way to meet some real life american people, in contrary to the hotels where my sister and I have been staying in other cities. Verda has explained everything and always has been there when we have had any questions. She is very helpful and a wonderful host.
We have the experience that the breakfast in hotels are not the same than the breakfast that Jim and Verda has prepared for us. It was the perfect start in the day - especially the pancakes. And the great talks with Verda where everyone could get useful tips for their trips. The rooms are very clean, parking space in front of the house. Page us a nice city and Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, Horseshow Bend and Lake Powell a must do!
Thanks Jim and Verda once again for a wonderful stay
at your bed and breakfast.
