We stayed at Silverwolf for 3 nights in July. Our expectations had been raised by a stay the previous night in the excellent Lochsa cabins close to Lolo pass, buried in deep forest scenery. When we arrived at Silverwolf we were shocked by the road noise, which most other reviewers seem not to have noticed (The train hooter noise is intermittent). To give a parallel understandable to fellow Brits, it was at a level similar to being a hundred yards from a dual carriageway. This improved when the wind changed, but was always there, albeit with less traffic as the night went on.
The cabin itself was of a good standard and was very clean, but the breakfast preparation area was inadequate. Also, what's this American obsession with disposable plates, dishes & cutlery? You guys are behind the curve on recycling! Final gripe - a full height wall dividing the bathroom from the living area would be a big improvement.
As the overall standard was good I can stretch to a rating of 4/5, but if I came again I'd probably look elsewhere.
