“Excellent at a Heroic Level”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We started our trip with the 4-day saddle paddle which is a great way to start a visit to Glacier National Park. The river is extraordinarily beautiful. I was permitted to use a two-person inflatable duckie on the river which I highly recommend. Other members of our family were in large safe rafts. Everything about the experience was exceptional, but on the fourth day the service researched a heroic level. The prior night, the staff determined they had not brought enough coffee. That probably happened because we had four adults and seven children. The staff did not foresee that a bunch of the teenagers drank vast amounts of coffee. As the sun set, two members of the staff paddled a duckie down to a place where they could reach a road. They hitch-hiked back to the office, got coffee, got a ride to the boat, drove up stream and then paddled back to our camp by a full moon. Awesome! Teaching my son how to fly fish and good character were other positive aspects of the staff, but the moon light coffee run was heroic. This is an outstanding and likely unmatched level of service.

“Fun trip lacking excitement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

I went on a 1/2 day rafting trip on Flathead River. The trip was fun, but quite boring in some places because the water was flat and you just in the raft floating. At other times the guide did all of the rowing. Adventure, which is part of the company's name did not describe the type of trip they sold us. Float trip with lots of calm water is an accurate description of the trip. Overall I was disapointed in the rafting trip because the water was too calm in lots of places. I wanted to be on moving water with lots of rapids. I wanted a more exciting trip than what we got.

“Fun and exciting time.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We were staying in Glacier for a week with our 14 year old son and he wanted more excitement than just hiking. We're all glad we decided to go on the 2-3 hour raft trip with Wild River Adventures. All of the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We felt safe in the care of our guide at all times. We didn't feel rushed while getting our gear on and making sure glasses and sunglasses and hats were secured for the trip. Bathrooms and changing rooms are just behind the office and are very clean.

“Great trip, beautiful views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

I was a bit nervous, having never rafter before but the 1/2 day trip was awesome! A nice mix of beautiful quiet stretches and white water sections. Our guide, Ferris did a great job, he was really informative and friendly and did a great job steering our boat and keeping everybody in it!

“Great bachelorette party activity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

As part of a long weekend in the Whitefish area, 8 of us joined a half-day whitewater rafting tour. Despite some nervousness from a few who hadn't done it before, much fun was had by all, and we were all glad we'd done it. The staff were very friendly and helped us get suited up on a not-so-warm day -- we were all glad they provided us with fleeces to wear over the wetsuits. Our guide, Ferris, was a lot of fun, answered all of our questions about the landscape and living in the area, and put up with a good deal of teasing that comes from a bunch of girls at a bachelorette party. A great activity for a weekend away; highly recommended!
