We started our trip with the 4-day saddle paddle which is a great way to start a visit to Glacier National Park. The river is extraordinarily beautiful. I was permitted to use a two-person inflatable duckie on the river which I highly recommend. Other members of our family were in large safe rafts. Everything about the experience was exceptional, but on the fourth day the service researched a heroic level. The prior night, the staff determined they had not brought enough coffee. That probably happened because we had four adults and seven children. The staff did not foresee that a bunch of the teenagers drank vast amounts of coffee. As the sun set, two members of the staff paddled a duckie down to a place where they could reach a road. They hitch-hiked back to the office, got coffee, got a ride to the boat, drove up stream and then paddled back to our camp by a full moon. Awesome! Teaching my son how to fly fish and good character were other positive aspects of the staff, but the moon light coffee run was heroic. This is an outstanding and likely unmatched level of service.
