This is a really relaxing bistro with good Greek food and very friendly, excellent service. Our server Avram was particularly helpful, and the food came hot and promptly, with adeqaute time bewteen courses to digest. Never rushed. Avram's suggestions we also very hepful.
We came in ealry, at 6:30, on a Saturday night, but within a half hour, the place was full. This a popular place -- for good reason!
All the lamb dishes were nice, and so was the spanokita. A personal favorite of mine was the PEI mussels in garlic. Also the egglant appetizer.
The wine list was a bit pricey. I found a red from the island of Paros for $36 which worked. I think the house red might have been ok too. Avram was more than happy to let you sample different wines that were open. No pressure to upgdade or order more bottles. That's really nice!
I know there must have been a Greek in the kitchen because it was authentic Greek food in my opiinion, But I didn't meet any Greeks in the front of the house. That did not take away from the experience for me. Plus they all knew the menu insider and out. Thanks again Avram.
We are from Philly, but my daugher lives in Brooklyn. I would come back here on a future trip.
