“popular eatery”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

We stopped by on July 4th looking for some respite from the heat on a hot summer afternoon. The place was friendly, clean, and very popular with take out. The beer, however, was not very cold and there was no A/C. The atmosphere was a disappointment with the extreme heat and each of us was dripping wet from the temps inside.

There is a young crowd and community seating so a chance to make some new friends. Fix the A/C and make sure the beer is ice cold and this could be a fun place!

“If you want really good lobster in NYC without taking a loan from a bank”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012

Friendly, rather overcrowded, simple folk, exquisite cooking. Of course, Lobster dinner (steamed 1 3/4 lbs ($33) is a must, it is enough for two at least. Also taste Connecticut Lobster Roll with butter ($17). It is a pity I am not new yorker - would have been my weekly meeting place.
