My daughter lived here for three years and it is a lovely place. Lots of reasonably priced good restaurants and take aways.
Unless you are walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, it's just a lovely neighborhood in New York. If you walked over then by all means, go to the promenade and take in the magnificent view of the skyline.

Love to go to Brooklyn Heights for the evening before sunset. We go to the Promenade and walk, watching the sun set over the Hudson RIver and Manhattan skyline. Walking the treelined steets loaded with history and beautiful brownstones takes you back in time and you can feel what it must have been like to live here "nostalgic America". Lots of place to eat or have coffee and desert.
Views. The past and you get closer. Loved the nice long walk, the views, the breezes, the sky. Get ready for a long walk!
