This park is being expanded and has some wonderful areas. The picnic areas, concert venues and playgrounds are lovely.
the park is getting bigger and better, it has a nice path for walking or going for a run, several places to go for a cocktail and priced good.
If you want to get out of the city while you are still in it, of course you can visit Central park. But for a change of scenery you might try Brooklyn Bridge Park. The whole neigborhood is being updated, and so it the River Side. Lots of walking paths along the River. Lots of Benches to sit and see the Mantattan Financial District from. Eat your lunch here, outdoors, in the sun!
This park is awesome! So many things to do/see, it's beautiful just to sit and people watch. There are lots of walking trails, benches and grassy areas for picnics.
Finally walked the Brooklyn bridge!!! I can honestly say i've lived my life and yes, I'm a New Yorker!!!
