While we only stayed one night; we got a great fix on a nice hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. The property is new, and well kept. The neighborhood is a bit on the rebound; but the new Barclays Center is only a few blocks away, and it's only a matter of time before this hotel is sold out all the time. The hotel staff is great; with a special call out to Brittany who found me a parking space after a very long drive; parking is tight but off site is well lighted, readily available and free. Parking on site has a reasonable fee but fills early.
The rooms are smallish; but in a city hotel expected, and all was very quiet. Breakfast fare was basic and filling; and well serviced. The hotel layout is quite unusual and fun. There's a lower level below street level and this is where breakfast is served; as well as the business center. Windows are large; and the space is bright. The hidden gem is the roof top deck. While it's not a real tall property, it rises above much of the nearby property; and gives you a great open air view to the city. There's seating up there for better weather, but even in December we had a mild night; and it was really very nice, and it came with the room rate!
We'd love to get back and do some exploring. Lot's of restaurants nearby; and plenty to see. This location is definitely worth your consideration.
