“A good value for the money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

I spent 4 days in this hotel and I was extremely satisfied with it...The receptionist wasnt really helpful and didnt speek good english at all, but was always with a smile...the room was cleaned every day and it was really comfortable! The breakfast was good too...the only disappointment was that one employee that was working on the breakfast bar...she was always extremely rude and never smiled, even though we greeted her good morning every day ...I can add that there was a really good internet access and I would definitely go back if I have the chance, cause it was a good value for the money I paid...

Location of the hotel is not the best but it is good for people who drive , the condition of the hotel was clean and good ,staff are very friendly which was a surprised , but the front desk staff have need a little more training ,the breakfast is more than a continental breakfast ,the bathrooms are nice but a bit small the room are also a bit small but nice , the channels are prefect ,over all the hotel is worst your money , would recommend any one to stay here any time .

Room Tip: top floor and corner rooms are better

Location was not great in the middle of residential area with nothing really to do nearby. But the hotel was nice and for the price it was okay. It was pretty clean and safe! Would not recommend if you are planning to go out at night with kids. Okay if you are just a couple or a family who will sleep early.

Cons: dirty (pubic hairs everywhere, specially around the bed and bathroom, check my pics), smelly (tobacco), noisy (next to the highway), shakes a lot (metro), employees having breakfast with the guests and doing a mess, prostitutes taking "customers" to the hotel rooms. The location is near 2 metro stations but the neighborhood is very dirty and smelly.

In the room next to ours was a prostitute receiving customers all night. When we saw her standing next to the hotel we immediately understood that was a prostitute but we wouldn't guess that she was "staying" there too.
Besides that is very noisy and shakes every 10 minutes. It's near a highway and metro station.
It's also VERY dirty and smelly. Lots of pubic hairs around the bed and in bathroom. Check my pics.
The housemaid always leave the dirty sheets/ towels next to the breakfast room and touches the food with the gloves that she wears to clean. The other staff members have breakfast with guests and they do a mess with the food. It's disgusting.
I do NOT recommend this place.

I have so many good things to say about this property! I recommend this hotel for sure. It is about 2 blocks from the subway. There are plenty stores, restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and hair salons around within walking distance. The area is safe!! I walked around many times at night and encountered no issues. The hotel is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly. Mr. Dinesh checked me in and he was so nice (and handsome). He gave me information about the manager's reception on Saturday nights with wine and snacks. He was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast was very hot and filling. It is a full buffet. There are waffles, sausage links and patties, and eggs. Coffee, milk, and many juices to drink. The hotel is not very large, but that is ok. The beds are very comfortable and there are NO bedbugs or anything like that! That was my main concern!! The beds are clean as a whistle and the amenities are very nice, too! The front desk is attended 24 hours and there are cameras on site. I stayed in room 305 which was near the elevator and I recommend it. I will definitely stay again when I go back to Brooklyn.

Room Tip: I like the rooms near the elevator.

I guess you get what you pay for with this place. Staff were for the most part rude and unhelpful, came back one evening (around 6pm) to find the bed stripped and nothing else. When my wife informed the front desk staff she was met with raised voices. Didn't even offer to help with bags or show courtesy. Room smelled like bleach, bed felt like a fold out mattress. Close to the subway, numerous laundry mats & a few good cheap eateries, but otherwise avoid.

“Downtown Brooklyn” is a bit of a misnomer when it is 2 miles from downtown. Seems like any amenity this hotel has to offer is to compensate for some inconvenience. Free parking (8 spaces on the hotel property) and free on-street parking is nice; but be prepared to either take the subway, a taxi or your car to downtown Brooklyn. The hotel is clean enough (overwhelming smell of bleach at times); daily continental breakfast and small-but-well equipment exercise room all help to accept the night noise of the very busy and close elevated freeway. We stayed one night. Although front desk attendant was pleasant and answered questions, he never asked about our stay or hoped to see us return. Needless to say, we will not return.

Room Tip: Rooms with a front view on the 4th floor have a distant view of NYC. Do not stay in the room next t...
