“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Bogota is a tiny gem in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The breakfast/brunch selections are delicious and reasonable. But...the real treat are the Brunch Happy Hour drinks. The Brazilian sangria is too wonderful and a delicious way to start the day.

The hostess and wait staff are friendly and attentive. Try going at noon, afternoons get noisy (but still fun).

“Excellent choice for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant provides excellent Columbian cuisine. The chicken tortilla soup was full of chicken and the large bowl was very filling. The empanadas were large and flavorful -crispy without being greasy. The arretas were excellent. Worth visiting.

“Latin Flavors Galore, Tremendous Value, Great Service, Fun Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

As Bogota Latin Bistro was recently highlighted as one of the 10 best neighborhood restaurants in a New York dining out web site, we gave it a go. Simply put, it easily earns the accolades with a broad menu of equisitely flavored Central and South American dishes. Appetizers range from bean and white cheese empanadas to Columbian chirrizo. Mains include skirt steak, arroz con pollo, and a wealth of other treats. Accessible from the Atlantic Terminal (LIRR and subway), it's a bit of a stroll, but the neighborhood is good and well lit. Get off the typical New York gastro path and give it try! Easily one of my new favorite restaurants.

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012 via mobile

I love this restaurant and visit frequently. The food is wonderful, though at times it seems to be better prepared for the dinner shift than for the lunch shift. Service is friendly and helpful. They have great options for gluten-free folks, too. The only minor drawback for me is the loud, somewhat chaotic space. I can see it appealing to those looking for a fun night out, but I wish it were a little more peaceful. That, however, won't stop me from going back!

“Great food & drink in a fun atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2012

If you like your food spicy and accompanied by interesting, tasty drinks, this is the place for you! They serve Colombian-style beef, pork, chicken and vegetable dishes too numerous to mention in detail here, all equally well and with great flair. Their regular menu entrees which include 2 sides such as kale sauteed in garlic are all a great deal and an excellent way to get your vegetables. The moist, delicious rotisserie chicken is a personal favorite, and is usually enough for a second dinner the next day. Come here with a group and sample their assorted margaritas, mojitos and sangria (bet you can't drink just one)!
