The women in the breakfast service was rude and not helpful if you where looking for something....with this attitude she needs to find a job that does not involve customer service....Discrace.....

There was no fridge in the room....the decor was outdated.... Looked like we stepped back in time .... The pool was full of rubbish ..... Very poor indeed.....

The location however is probably next to none as you walk around the corner and you are on Hollywoods strip.....

This four year old, five floor facility towers above its low rise neighbors in a mixed residential, mostly industrial neighborhood. Outside and inside its bright lighting and highly polished hard surfaces and floors all announce its preserved newness by way of cleanliness and good maintenance.

Otherwise, it's an adequate, cheap motel with cheezey fixtures and thin bedding. Car parking is eight very tight, first come first served garage spaces. Public transport is a City bus running by or a long two block walk to to City elevated/subway. Included breakfast is good if you like OK coffee, apples, bananas, yogurt, and carbs, carbs, carbs.

Cleanliness is what sells this place, and we would consider returning.

We stayed here for four nights recently and were really pleased with the hotel. We were given a room on the forth floor, so no problem with noise etc (as there is a pub / night club attached to the hotel which goes on into the very early hours.)
The subway was literally at the end of the street, we took the subway from Manhattan back to the hotel every night at about 11pm / 12 midnight and didn't feel unsafe in the area at all. It takes about 20 or 30 minutes to get into the city on the subway.
We only had breakfast one of the mornings, it was basic but filled a gap! There's a pretty good deli at the end of the street too.
Wifi access is pretty good and there's a pc that guests can use free of charge in the lobby.
The staff on the front desk (especially a young asian girl) were helpful and friendly. I was wary booking Kings hotel as there aren't too many reviews on it but would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend & would stay again.
