The Brooklyn Museum is not huge like the Metropolitan Museum or as fancy as MOMA but it has fabulous treasures in a walkable, manageable space that's spacious. You can breath in the Brooklyn Museum!
It's worth the trip to see Judy Chicago's exhibit. Once done, the rest of the museum has creative exhibits with well-written descriptions.
The Snack Bar has huge windows and the shop is wonderful with a variety of prices.
