“A walk across a Historic Bridge”

We took the MTA over to Brooklyn Heights and got out and walked back over the Brooklyn Bridge so the whole time we could see Manhattan in the back ground and timed the crossing to coincide with evening and the pay off was fantastic! We had just come from walking on the Manhattan side the day before and from seeing the Brooklyn Bridge from the Huston River on the Statue of Liberty Ferry Boat. Just look at the photo's and believe ;)

“Work in Progress”

Works are in progress and if you have the passion for photos you will suffer a bit looking for the right corner to zhtake a good shoot.
Well worth the walk, strongly suggested to do it with a tour explaining the history of the construction or via Cruise to experience the view also from the water.

“Great view of the city skyline”

The bridge is amazing! Even though the walkway was partially under construction when we were there, it was still the perfect place to get a view of the skyline. Not to mention, the bridge itself is beautiful!

“American genius”

I had been on this bridge when I was a little girl, and my Grandparents lived in Brooklyn. It was a treat to be on it and to see it once again as an adult. We had a sunny, Fall afternoon for our tour of it, and it looked even more impressive in the sunlight. Hearing the story of how it was built really is a tale of American genius.

“Everyone should walk it”

Getting up close and personal to the iconic bridge was well worth the effort. There is some construction on the Manattan side of the bridge but I didn't feel that it affected the experience.
