My hosts truly cared about making my stay memorable. The food is made with care and that added to the overall feeling of the history and beauty of the location which greatly enhanced the enjoyment of every meal. The innkeepers have lived the Alaskan adventure and were more then willing to share their stories. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I can not wait to return, it will be like returning home to see ones close friends.

“Anschen Log House is the greatest!”

At Anschen Log House the hosts Paul and Dawn are excited to share their part of Alaska. I didn't see Paul very much but Dawn was knowledgeable about the various activities going on in Fairbanks at the time I was there. I found her to have a wealth of information about sightseeing as well as physical activities.

The Anschen Log House is warm and inviting. Exactly what I expected to find in Alaska. The food is great as well! I look forward to staying there again.
