If you want to go to the Arctic Circle, this is the way to go. Ranier's big truck accommodated 4 of us through all the mud and rain. His nice clean truck was a mess by the end of the day. I thought the trip may be cancelled it was pouring so hard but by the time we got to the arctic circle the sun was out and it was warm. With the interesting stops and the snacks and homemade lunch, this was a wonderful way to spend a day in Fairbanks. Since Ranier is new to Alaska he does not have all the history, etc that a tourist may be looking for but we found we had gotten enough of all those stories elsewhere and hearing about actually living in Alaska from a newcomer was refreshing. Ranier cares about his customers as people and not just another day of touring as may be the case with a bigger company. If we ever get to that part of Alaska again we will certainly call on Ranier to show us more.
