“Excellent atmosphere on Friday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Smoke hookas, eat some food and drink some beers. The beers were only like $2.50 or so, prices were good. Hooka prices are actually for 2 refills so, you can certainly chill out for some time. Lots of people were there, apparently its the place to be on Friday.

“Good Food, Young Crowd, Teens and such”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Really good food, nice staff, but a pretty young and immature crowd, maybe its the locals... Definitely worth another try... food and service were good...

“Really good in its own weird way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

First, the food: delicious. The Lebanese feast (8 mezze plates of your choosing from a list of about 15) is fresh, varied and only $28--half that on Wednesdays--and far more than two people could ever possibly eat in one meal. Lebanese Feast=doggie bags. The hummus is creamy and, refreshingly, house-made. No chewy, wonderbread-like mass-produced pita here either--theirs seems to come right out of the oven. On to the atmosphere, which is ... umm ... unique. One side of the restaurant is a large hookah bar, sports bar with big-screen TVs and casual, linoleum-table restaurant that turns into a strobe-light flashing dance club complete with security guards/doormen and DJs on weekend nights. The other side of the restaurant (a separate room) is white-tablecloth and non-smoking and has a more traditional middle-of-the-road atmosphere. Inside this space is also a glass-walled-off banquet room. I've never seen a banquet, but they do seem to segregate people with screaming babies there, and who doesn't appreciate that? So on any given Saturday night, the place fills with 1)guys in baseball hats left over from watching some game 2)middle-aged suburbanite couples out for dinner 3)hookah smoking hipsters and 4)sequinned dress wearing club girls in 4-inch heels. Both sides have an outdoor patio area that overlooks the scenic strip-mall parking lot shared with the Burlington Coat Factory. Interesting aside: one night, our waitress quit and stormed into the parking lot after a fight with the bartender, but the other wait staff smoothly took over for her, and our service continued completely uninterrupted. So, you might get a little drama with your falafel, but it's not as annoying as you'd think it would be.

“Yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

We live in Richmond, but discovered Aladin on a trip home in a scurry to find something to eat that wasn't out of the box. We had a great dinner sharing a lot of appetizers. happened to be a Wed. And discovered the entree were half off, so the bill was about the same as McDonalds! we discovered that the quiet, peaceful restaurant was next to the loud, active bar on the side. We went a second time and also had great service and wonderful food. Went with a rather finicky Syrian who gave it a thumbs up also.

“Unique for the area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2012 via mobile

I would say this place is different because of its cuisine obviously but nothing makes it shine. It's also a hucca bar (spelling?) which makes it attractive to certain age groups and people. Cuisine wise, not so special but all in all, a different atmosphere. I can't complain because there's nothing to complain about in my opinion.
