For our first visit to Fredericksburg my husband wanted to be in the historic district and this hotel was ideal.
Our room was on a corner and had a really long corridor once you entered which made it a bit quirky - we loved it. We had loads of space and a double aspect which was great. There were coffee making facilities which was great after a day viewing the battlesites.
We had a couple of drinks in the bar where the staff were friendly and although we never ate in the hotel the food on display looked appetising.
Down side - no parking however street parking overnight is poissible just watch out for the street sweeping or you could get a ticket is you are on the wrong side!
Loads of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
Woud definintely recommend this to anyone wanting to be in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg.
