3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

This is a budget hotel. Just off the main highway, but the double glazed windows, though dirty, did block the highway noise. Other facilities were clean and comfortable. Staff could have been better presented and more engaged with their jobs. Continental breakfast was very limited and basic with a very small seating area. Car park could do with an upgrade.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. I was very please with how clean the room was I even used the words spotless! The breakfast was nice but small. The coffee was great and that really was all I cared about. I would stay here again

I spent four nights here while touring the local area. The location is convenient, Fredricksburg is the next exit south. The room was very clean, microwave and refrigerator worked fine. Plenty of TV channels to choose from. I was at the back of the hotel so I heard no road noise. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The desk staff was always very friendly. There were a couple of chain restaurants and stores close by and they had several restuarants that delivered. The breakfast was minimal, but did have a selection of cereal and some packaged danish. If yo want a big breakfast you can go next door to Ponderosa. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

Room Tip: Roooms at the back end are probably quieter since they are the furthest from the road

We were headed north and had been driving in the pouring rain for about 6 hours so we stayed here for the night. The girl at the desk was very friendly, sweet really. The bed was comfortable and the tv worked fine but seemed to be a bit in need of remodel. They did have a coffee and continental breakfast in the morning so considering the price, you got what you paid for.

Room Tip: they will upgrade for you if you ask and it is available.

This is a 4th stay here in the last couple years. The location is easy off I95. You can't beat the value for $50 two doubles. Yes it's low budget but this hotel room has clean beds and pillows are comfortable. Lots of cable channels on old tube style TV. Mini fridge and microwave oven. Bathroom had zero mold no hair on the floor, in the drain and felt clean. The towels were bleach white and felt clean. The carpet wasn't gross and I was not concerned to walk barefoot.
Wifi signal in room didn't work though. Restaurants and convenience stores across the street. As is a Target and McDonald's. their continental breakfast is 4 cereals, coffee, frozen pastry. Not much of a selection but it worked, barely. Waffle House Restaurant across the sleep. I felt safe here and didn't see any issues to scare me.

I will definitely stay here again. It's low budget and a bargain for a clean comfortable room.

This hotel didn't get really good reviews from some other sites, but I gave it a chance and glad I did. This was quiet, rooms were adequate size and they had mircowave/fridge in them and the bed was comfortable - not to mention very clean. I was traveling up to NJ from FL for the holidays and so I was only there at night until morning. But for the money it was well worth it and will stay there again. I gave them a sticker from Trip Advisor to put in their window!!

OK this is not perfect. The sheets had a small cigarette burn on the edge and the manual door latch needed the screws tightened. However, the room was clean and comfortable well worth the low price we paid. Staff friendly. I would stay again.
