“Beats the old, tired DQ down the street!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2012

As another viewer pointed out, this is a Midwest treat (frozen custard) which uses eggs to make it rich and tasty. I'm from St. Louis and the seasonal opening of Ted Drew's chain was the harbringer of warm weather after old man Winter shuffled off for another year. I've only had sweets here, so my rating is only for that portion of the menu.

What really makes this place special is the free 'doggie' cones. My canine companion LOVES this place :-)

This is out of this World. Can not say enough about this.

“Glorious cup of frozen treaty goodness!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2011 via mobile

Finally, FINALLY someone had the good sense to bring this gastronomical delight from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest!

For those of you frozen custard virgins, think of the smoothest, creamiest gelato you've ever had and then make it about half again as better! Frozen Custard is a straight from the heartland treat. It's made fresh everyday and is then turned into whatever delightful frozen cup of goodness you choose.
Being a purist, one cannot improve upon the golden child of sundaes, the Turtle. Super creamy custard, hot fudge & caramel, topped with perfectly roasted and salted pecans and a maraschino cherry (that looked like it had been on steroids, it was that big).
Nuff said... Get yourself to Sheridans, get a Turtle and thank me later.

“LOST THEIR LUSTER”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2010

When this place first opened, their custard was basically the best around like I couldn't find better ice cream anywhere else around.
This has been a year or two ago when their custard changed but not in a good way. Rather than the fresh homemade ice cream as it used to be, it's now this cheap tasting, artificial and not so good ice cream.
Don't forget the prices of what's on their menu! Sheridan's Frozen Custard has always been expensive but they still are besides how their custard changed. I'm probably better off buying some artificial soft serve at McDonalds as it's better and less expensive!
I will not be coming back until they change back to the way they were.
