“Wonderful Park, great trails”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Beautiful place for a picnic and a swim, especially for families. Trails around park and also connect it to Fishermans Bar Park, right on the Columbia River.

Have to check on water quality sometimes, especially late summer.

Really a verey good park.

“An Okay Park”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

The lake and park is just okay. Needs a little more care to keep it from deteriorating. It could be a great place to visit.

“Small but good for kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

This is a small park on the lake. There is a good jungle gym for kids and places for dogs to run. There really isn't anything going on the lake. You can't swim in it, or if you can, you shouldn't. There have been toxic algae blooms in the past there. It is good for picnics in the summer time.

“WHERE IS THE WATER GOING?...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

This place is a short drive from Portland going north and its easy to find...A big lake in Vancouver, Washington but the water is stagnant and with no or little circulation...Its ideal for rafting or small boats sailing but swim at your own risk...It is an excellent daytime picnic area for any size of group and not a bad place for fishing either...Late spring and early summer is the best time for any water activity or after a heavy rain drops that balances water purity in the lake...
