My teenage son & I stayed here for the Vancouver Kumoricon (anime convention) for one night. In it's class, I think it's great. Right off I-5, about 7 minutes N. of downtown Vancouver. Sort of "Mission/Craftsman Lite" architecture, which makes a nice change from the usual woodgrain-veneer people-box. Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean. Our unit, especially the bathroom was up-to-date and perfectly clean & maintained. Marble counter, easy-to-operate shower. If you have a flatscreen at home the TV will look like mush. Heating/cooling unit worked well and was reasonably quiet. Beds were firm but not hard. The comp. breakfast was a nice surprise, I've been offered worse in places costing 2X as much: OJ, apple juice, coffee, cereal, French toast, do-it-yourself Belgian waffles, syrup, cottage cheese, fruit, jam, everything very neat & clean. My son used the pool with his friends and liked it - "small, but deep - 5 feet!" If I was returning to Vancouver, I'd book here in a minute.
