“Nothing like Indian hospitality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

On our road trip we were craving Indian food and landed up at a motel and this quaint restaurant was right opposite. Whilst the decor and ambience are just ok, the food was quite nice for being located off the highway in southern Washington state. But what stood out the most was the genuine Indian hospitality which I miss from my country. The lady from Hyderabad who served us was very sweet. I do hope the restaurant does better as their hospitality deserves it!!

“Great lunch buffet!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Stopped by here for midday lunch. Very close to I-205 at Mill Plain exit (less than 0.2 miles off highway). Prices on menu looked reasonable, but we did the lunch buffet which was a great price for excellent food. This buffet had a wide spectrum of choices with varied spices & flavors - curries, dahl, soups, rice, yogurt, desserts, etc. This is not "Americanized" - good authentic Indian dishes. Not a fancy place at all, but the food is excellent.

“A surprising find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

I never would have tried this place if it had not been recommended to me by my roommate. It's a great price for flavorful, spicy, delicious dishes. The atmosphere isn't great and it doesn't have curb appeal but don't miss out. If you like spicy foods and aren't afraid to try something new and authentic, this is an awesome find.

“Tasty and cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

This is a great Indian restaurant. The food is tasty ( spicier than Namaste), which I like. It tastes like the real food I have experienced in India, and not adapted to the American taste buds yet. The folks running it are nice. The service is good, and the prices are very reasonable. My only negative about this place is that there are times that the restaurant is closed, against the hours they have posted on the window.

“Great Indian Food, Nice Portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Vancouver is sorely lacking in ethnic restaurants so we were glad to find this one. Although service was incredibly slow, everyone was very friendly and the food was outstanding. Drinks (wine) took about 15 minutes to appear. We ordered 3 dishes (the full dinners are just a few dollars more and worth it) for 3 of us and had plenty to take home. Vindaloo lamb was great! Will definiltly go back and try their lunch buffet.
