I booked my room through Priceline using the "Name your own price" feature and paid $50 a night!!! I stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing! The room was comfortable with a queen sized bed, couch and kitchenette that included a dishwasher!! The room was smallish, but so thoughtfully laid out that it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I stayed there with my husband and 5 month old son. They shared the bed (daddy did nighttime feeds, lol) and I took the very comfy couch. So clean, so comfy! The buffet breakfast in the mornings are ridiculously good! Waffles, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, toast........etc. Yum! I give this hotel kudos and would definately stay there again in the future!!

This was our 4th try at a hotel near the PDX Airport and it is definitely the winner! After seeing the other positive reviews here, I decided to give it a try for my family of 5 - kids are 15, 7 and 5. I booked a 1 bedroom suite and we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite - spacious living room, with full kitchen, kids room with 2 double beds and a master bedroom with a king bed in it. Both bedrooms have bathrooms inside them. The hotel staff could not be nicer. The pool area is outside and very nice, with a volleyball/basketball court. At $129 a night, the price was pretty close to what we paid at a small room near the airport that had 2 double beds. We travel to the Portland area every summer and I am booking the Staybridge Suites next time as well.

The Staybridge is a very good value hotel despite it's weak location compared to other Vancouver, WA hotels - I've noted there are a few other properties closer to the Columbia River and thus, closer to Portland.

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite w/ friends. The beds were comfortable, the room was fairly clean (although I noted two spiders on the walls) and quiet and the free buffet breakfast, well, it wasn't bad. The hotel staff were friendly, too.

My biggest issue with this property is that even though I booked a king and queen, I received a queen and two doubles - the front desk clerk was polite, but didn't apologize and stated the hotel was full that night. I should also mention that half the faucets in the room didn't function properly.

I would recommend this hotel for those travelling in a larger group by vehicle (parking is free). It is certainly a good value property with few shortcomings (definitely book directly thru the hotel as the best price is guaranteed).

I am so glad we chose this hotel! We were choosing between the Residence Inn suites and Staybridge, and I chose Staybridge because of the two bedrooms instead of the loft offered at the other, since we have 2 toddlers with us I didn't feel comfortable with the stairs or loft. This hotel is beautiful and clean, the lobby is spotless, they have a nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold selections, an afternoon "sundowner" Tues-Thurs that includes beer, wine, and a hot item- for today there were roast beef sandwiches with au jous, salad, and chips, which is enough food to count as dinner! The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they will go out of their way to help you. There is a shuttle bus that will take you in a 5 mile radius which includes the Vancouver Mall, good place to shop. The rooms themselves have a little kitchen with dishes, pots, micro, dishwasher. We have the 2 bedroom suite and it is great for families with kids. There are even fresh baked cookies early afternoon at the front desk, get there quick or they'll be gone! I am So pleased with this hotel and I am definitely going to look for these hotels on future trips. I have nothing but good things to say. We did use the advance (1 week) purchase to get the room for $139 a night instead of $189, definitely a great bargain if you have a solid travel itinerary. I highly recommend this hotel!
