“Low cost motel, outdated, free breakfast, pool, clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2011

This is your average low cost motel in suburbia Vancouver. We stayed here because we were unable to get to our house during a snow storm. The room was clean but smelled since it was a dog room and we had a dog but that's ok. We knew that. The beds were old and lumpy and the bathroom was nice, granite counter top but old shower/tub area. Outdated furniture and tv but it was cheap and we only had to stay 2 nights. Staff was nice and the pool was nice and so was the free breakfast. Would stay again if we are in another snow storm. Other nicer motels around that area but double the price we paid (53.00 for 4 people). I would recommend this place to cheap family members and friends who don't want to spend a lot of money to stay in Vancouver. Great centural location.

Good value, however it's old and for sure a 2 star hotel. There were lots of people living there. Don't get me wrong the hotel tried. Just I need very clean and it's more of crazy stay.

Our first time stay in that place. It is not new, but it is not shaby either. Breakfast is included, wifi is included too. Makes for a good cheap stay, way better than what you normally get for this price. Location is good to visit Portland or Vancouver fort.

Just a one-night stay, across the river from Portland, OR.

Reasonable price, GOOD Days Inn standard quality all around. Deluxe continental breakfast.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in early march and it was everything I expected. Huge jaquzee tub right by the bed and wi-fi throughout the building. Plus, the room I was in was at the end of the hall so there were NO dicturbances whatsoever. the pool was heated and open 24/7, which is a definite plus. The room was clean and the people at the front desk helped me answer all my questions. I would advise couples to get the suite :)

My husband and I had a good experience at a Ramada in Bakersfield, Ca a few days before this one, So we figured we would give the chain another shot. First of all if you are trying to find this in the dark and are new to the area, don't even try. We were traveling north bound i-5 and got lost trying to find this place, and i'm a good navigator. We had been driving all day in a uhaul and wanted a good place to rest. I think the only reason we feel asleep is because we were exhausted. I wasn't the quietest or least crowded. We got there late at night and they only had a few rooms left. The parking lot didn't have enough parking spaces for every guest there, especially with a uhaul + trailer. So we had to park on a curb that wasn't even straight ( we had to maneuver our uhaul with trailer into a L shaped curb-After driving ALL day... it took about an hour to just park). the staff were no help and didn't seem to care. I have never seen SOOO many empty parking spaces "near" a hotel that had SOOO many signs by them saying "no overnight parking. Will be towed." We weren't allowed to park in the VAST EMPTY parking lot of the mall right across the street, due to all the signs. We tried to park on the curb that was connecting the ramada to the next door motel, but didn't see the sign until after we parked there saying "no parking". That is when we started to try and park on the "curb" a few feet from it... and guess what? WHILE we are trying to park this thing on this tiny curb, a cop car pulls up into the spot we were just parked in and watches us the whole time!!! Like we are the Criminals !! I could not believe how rude and bored these Vancouver people must be! I will never stay at that hotel or city ever again.

We made the mistake of booking this thru Hotels.com, thus were given the very worst room in the house. It was upstairs at the very end of the building (no elevator), faced west and just about touched the highway! The a/c could not overcome the afternoon sun, the noise from the highway could be heard above the struggling a/c and the internet didn't work. The next morning we threatened to check out and were moved to the east side, center where we had no problem with temperature, noise or internet. So be forewarned, there are some really crummy rooms, and there are some OK rooms here.
