“Continued excellence at the Heathman Lodge!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

We have stayed at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA numerous times over the last fifteen years. We visited again last week. They continue to have beautiful facilities, excellent customer service and a top notch restaurant. Brett Wilkerson and his staff are amazing! We would never consider staying anywhere but the Heathman!!

Gorgeous hotel, comfortable beds, great customer service, shopping close, airport close, restaurants close and on site! Usually stay downtown Portland at the fabulous Heathman Hotel. Family destination wedding at Royal Oaks Country Club so we thought this would be perfect. We were not disappointed! We will be back! Lots of places in lobby area to chat and for visiting with other quests also there to attend the wedding. Thank you!

Exposed wood beams, stone walls, high ceilings, and a large fireplace in the lobby give the ambiance of a National Park lodge. The staff took great interest in our comfort. The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The room was spacious, and the bathroom large enough for a party. I recommend without hesitation

My son decided this looked like a good place to enjoy his birthday. He was going to be happy anywhere with an indoor pool; we were all pleasantly surprised with the lodge feel and our room had a great balcony. The piped in bird sounds in the halls took some getting used to, but we all loved the frogs that were singing in the pond and trees outside our room. Overall, nice lodge feeling in the heart of the city.

We were staying at the Heathman for a family gathering which was held close by. The lodge is well located with easy access from the freeway and surrounded by shopping opportunities. The staff was friendly at check in and our room was just as expected. I appreciated the fact that they located our family in rooms quite close to one another so there wasn't a lot of wandering around while rounding up everyone. Our room was quite spacious and the amenities were outstanding: Keurig coffee maker with GOOD coffee, mini fridge, large closet, nice bathroom and a Tempurpedic bed. The room was large enough that we were comfortable having others visit in our room to watch a basketball game and chat. The lobby area adjoins the bar and restaurant was very noisy during cocktail and dining hours Saturday night. We didn't stay for dinner because we were pretty sure it wouldn't have been a relaxing dining experience. There was a pianist, which was very nice but couldn't be enjoyed from the lobby because of the raucous bar activity. Not complaining...it just wasn't the atmosphere we were interested in that evening. We had breakfast in the dining room Sunday morning. It was EXCELLENT with delightful offerings and more than the usual eggs, toast and pancakes. My husband had a wonderful brie omelet and I had a veggie/egg-white scramble which was delicious. This was our second visit to the Heathman and, I dare say, not our last. Reasonable rates, great location, good service, terrific food, comfortable rooms...what more do you need? PS: The fitness room is rudimentary, but includes a sauna. We ran outside because the weather was perfect.

From the greeting and welcome to the room and restaurant I enjoyed all a lot.

I stay 150+ nights a year in hotels and few stand out enough for me to write about. This is one that is well worth Honorable mention.

And if you use the Internet it is the Fastest I have ever had in a hotel and equal to my house at 25+MB which is lightning fast and no other hotel offers that.

Near the Mall, and convenient to highways and quiet.

Kudos and Thanks to the Hot Team.

I was here with a large group for a Arts fair and this hotel was very well set up for that. The staff was great as far as getting to rooms set up and making sure that there were signs indicating where the various halls were. The staff was friendly and accommodating of our needs. The bird sound in the halls was a little weird at first, but we got used to it. Overall a clean and quiet place decently priced food at the bar and decent drinks.

Room Tip: Wetlands view ones are very peaceful
