Yup it is a great location but this does not help with the poorly maintained rooms noisy street and very rude front desk staff. Room was large but not well cleaned and in need of a complete refit in the tiny tiny tiny bath room. better pay a bit more somewhere else . the main street is very noisy with large truck traffic so at least request a room around to the side. We saw too many other nice clean looking chain hotel and motels as we walked around town for two days to ever go back here again.

This is a good choice if you want to stay by the river in the center of the historic district, but also save some money. Looking more like a motel it shows its age. My bedroom was adequate, and reasonably clean, but the decor is shabby and the style and equipment well below what you could buy in most other locations for the same price. Still, the surrounding rivals are $40 + a night more and my room was cool and quiet and the bed clean and comfortable, so I was pleased with my choice.

The hotel has excellent parking, motel style, and offers free wireless internet, although I found that it worked properly only when I was sitting in the lobby and close to the router. The evening staff were very friendly; the morning less so.

This hotel is in a good location (at the edge of the historic district, and near the river) but it is poorly maintained. The carpet was damp the entire time I stayed there (4 nights), so make sure to bring flip-flops. My toilet ran, and the AC was so loud it kept me up at night. The continental breakfast featured cold kielbasa in a crockpot one morning; stale bargain-bin white bread and rubbery hard-boiled eggs were regular features. It took a long time to check out Sunday morning (20 min for 2 people) because the computer system is down every Sunday--perhaps they should do something about that? Also, the soda and ice machines are in the parking lot, which doesn't seem safe.

Here is a place billed as a hotel but it is actually a motel. A two-story property with all rooms entered from the exterior, this property is tired and not well maintained. The exterior stairwells are dirty, and the rooms are dusty and rather dated. I found it to be overpriced, especially since 3 of the 5 people I stayed with had problems with running toilets, dripping faucets, dirty floors and broken TVs. I stayed at the Quality Inn for 5 nights (Tue-Sun). I will admit that I didn't tell the desk about the running toilet because it appeared to have been "fixed" a few times before. I also found it difficult to get through to the front desk several nights in a row. On a good note, linens were clean and the a/c worked. Mid-week the hotel was quiet, but due to its location near the river and adjacent bars it was very loud on the weekend. A good location if you want to be on the edges of the historic district, or if you want to party. If you don't intend to be in the room this hotel is fine, but pick another place if you are looking to spend quality time in the "Quality Inn."
