We booked The Brice through Priceline, knowing it was 4 star and in the Historic District. Employees were polite and helpful. The location was at the end of Bay Street so several blocks to actually be in the main area. The parking was valet ($26) or street. The in room snacks were with an "honors bar" and quite pricey ($6 water, $5 snickers, etc). The refrigerator required a key. Our view was straight out to a brick wall. If we stood at the window and looked to the far right, we could see a glimpse of the pool. When you check in, be prepared to possibly walk back outside and past the courtyard (although covered area). The elevator near the front door does some serious creaking and groaning. The furnishings were nice although the corners of the platform bed were rough on our toes. We had to place pillows on all corners for safety. The bathroom was quite small with the door barely missing hitting the toilet. Overall, the Andaz was a much better experience for us with similar rooms, better views, location, parking, bathroom, complimentary snacks, etc.

Room Tip: Pets are welcome in the hotel. If you're allergic, avoid. If you want quiet, request a pet free...

The Brice is a really nice hotel. Very modern and charming at the same time. My boyfriend had stayed here for a previous visit and recommended it for my trip... I went for 2 nights with my mother, sister-in-law, and 4 year old niece. Everyone we encountered within the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is fantastic - it's right across from River Street. The guys working the valet and front door were always courteous and smiling. My ONLY complaint... and the reason I didn't rank 5 stars - was the noise level, through the walls and coming up from the lobby/bar area. We stayed in room 315 which was right inside the hallway, near the elevator and overlook to the floors below. The noise coming up from the lobby/bar could be heard clearly through our door - so I closed the door separating the elevator/foyer from the room/hallway. This worked - but I'd forgotten to account for all the bar patrons who would be coming upstairs via that same door during the rest of the evening. It was a pretty consistent open/close and easily heard through our room door. Also - I could clearly hear every word from my neighbors room after he arrived back from the bar that same night.
Usually this would not bother me... usually I would've been at the bar myself... but this time I was with my mother and niece who are in bed by 9:30/10.
Otherwise, everything else was great.

While our room was smaller than some in which we've stayed, it's location, the morning and afternoon coffee/wine availability plus the unusually warm and responsive staff made this place a delight. The secret garden was a great place to rest and renew.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the garden, which could make them noisy.

The Brice has a great lobby and an even better courtyard with comfortable chairs, couches and tables. The location is excellent for walking all around savannah right off a lovely square. We had a beautiful spacious room with a 4 poster bed and for fun the interior of the armoire is hot pink. Service as always is special and personal. We will return

Stayed here one evening while in town. While the hotel is nice, it's not worth the price in my opinion. It's plus is that you can walk one block to river street. The hotel is nothing special, rooms are smaller than average. The employees were all great! I just think there are better options.

I remove a star because of the location of our room first floor street level, Quite noisy all night with cars, trucks and general street noise. On the very edge of the historic district walking distance to most sites in the historic district. Valet was quick and efficient, $26/day fairly expensive considering there was on street parking. The restaurant was very nice. In summary: Hotel service, cleanliness, modernity excellent. Noise and parking not so much. As much as we liked the Brice, we will probably try a different hotel next time.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in April 2015 for our anniversary. I actually looked at several hotels on line before getting the Brice through Priceline. It is in a very good location, within walking distance of the south end of the river side restaurants and shopping. Valet Parking available (extra cost) across the street. Parking attendants were very friendly and quick each time we used them, even during the busy Sunday morning check out time.
Our room faced the courtyard and was very quiet. The afternoon free wine social hour was nice. WiFi worked well and was free if you join the Klimpton chain's customer club (free).
The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. One minor complaint-after a few guests lingered in the courtyard one evening, the staff did not clear glasses, etc until the next day. Minor detail.
Overall, a very good place to stay.
