I am normally a person who stays at national chain hotels, so it was quite a departure for me to book a room at a property such as this. I was very pleasantly surprised.

This hotel would never be described as the best value, across any strata, but, I don't believe that the people who stay at properties such as this are very concerned. There are, I believe, two restaurants on the property, of which I went to the main one, which was at all points very enjoyable.

Of great note is the courtyard, which was so beautiful in the evening/night.
Also, the lobby/restaurant areas have numerous books, which can be 'checked out' to a guest room, but I think you really could just grab them and go.

Please be aware that it is animal friendly, which is fine if you're an animal lover.

The staff was very pleasant and they are so smartly dressed in their uniforms. In particular, there was a young man from Liberia, who was EXCEPTIONAL! I should only wish to have someone as committed as he working at one of my stores.

Room Tip: Pick a room away from the ground floor, you'll be glad for the courtyard view.

We were pleasantly surprised with the renovations that have taken place at the Brice in Savannah, we loved the upscale feeling this hotel brings. The bedding was wonderful and the beds were comfortable. Location was great and we loved the bikes that were available for our use. It was cool when we were there so the garden area was not available…but the staff was very attentive and the valet parking attendants were helpful and quick. We would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor street side…no traffic noise that we noticed.

We traveled to Savannah the first week of December. The Brice Hotel is a new and modern boutique hotel in the midst of the historic district serving up exceptional service with beautifully appointed accomodations. The hotel serves up late afternoon complimentary wine and hor d'oerves each day to its' guests which allows for the opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests in the hotel. We did not use the outdoor pool but did spend time in the the outdoor courtyard. We opted to use the Valet parking service during our stay which uses the hotel owned parking garage across the street. There is a daily fee for this but with very limited street parking and not wanting the hassle of using a city parking garage not located near the hotel it was worth the extra cost. The valet service is available 24 hours a day. We found staff very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance to just about everywhere in the historic distric including the river esplanade of shops, restaurants and bars. There is also the Pacci, a restaurant in the hotel which boasts excellent cuisine and service. With extremely comfortable beds and a safe in every room, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Savannah.

Spent two December nights at the Brice, splurging for one of the king suites to help celebrate a wedding anniversary. The bed was too-comfortable -- tough to leave it each morning. Suite included a pull-out sofa and chairs and a flat-screen in the "living room'', spacious bedroom (another flat-screen) and bathroom.

Our suite overlooked BUSY Bay Street, but that meant we got to watch from our window the city's fireworks, one night, and its charming, small-town lighted parade the other night. The Brice is well-situated for exploring lovely Savannah -- stroll two blocks to the fine eatery B. Matthews, for any meal. And if you must go to touristy River Street, it is just one block away.

One of the real highlights of our stay was the boundless friendliness of the staff -- the woman who checked us in on Friday was just coming back on duty Sunday afternoon as we were leaving, and she stopped to hug us goodbye!

Room Tip: Ask for a room NOT facing Bay Street.

The Brice is billed as an upscale hotel. We found the room average and the parking pricey at $25.00. At 2:30 AM in the morning a woman started screaming out side our room. This went on for 15 minutes before I open my door and asked her to stop. This was met with a volley of cuss words. After another 15 minutes I call the front desk and they said they were trying to calm her down. She had no room key or ID and wanted into a room. I suggested they call the cops. After 35 minutes they let her into a room and it became quiet. Upon check out the hotel did refund us $125.00 off our bill. On a positive note the wine tasting was great and the staff were the best. We would put this experience aside and stay hat this property again.

Room Tip: Second floor on the back was quiet. They are pet friendly so if you are alergic to animals ask for a...

My sister and I spent a lovely long weekend at the Brice during the holiday season. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful -- we loved the modern, whimsical decor more than we expected. Our room was spacious and clean; the beds extremely comfortable. We also loved the "secret garden". What a lovely, tranquil place to unwind with a glass of wine during the free hosted wine hour.
I had read some reviews that said the Brice was too far from the action. I would completely disagree. It's an easy walk to everything. The in-room yoga mats really sealed the deal and made our weekend superb! We walked everywhere and it was nice to have a way to stretch out and unwind after a long day of touring.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Brice.

Been coming to Savannah for the past six years. Usually around Easter. This past year we found out about the Brice and booked in the summer. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. Since our stay we've been back to Savannah three times this year and are heading back to the Brice next week. In fact, because if our stay, we are looking at moving to Savannah now. Can't wait to come back! Rooms are incredible and staff is overly accommodating. In fact, they fit the bill of the term southern hospitality. Nothing but good things to say. It's pricy yes, but you won't regret the extra. Most hotels in Savannah are over priced and run down. You might as well pay a little more an enjoy your entire trip. Great job guys. Looking forward to seeing you on 12/21.
