My husband and I stayed at the Forsyth Square B&B for one weekend in the spring of 2007. We were trying to find a hotel room in Savannah at last minute. We didn't know what to expect but we were glad they had a room available only 2 days before the weekend. We stayed in Room # 11 and it is beautiful. The room has a separate sitting area with a non working fireplace. It is tastefully decorated and I just loved the bathroom even though it doesn't have a shower (soaking tub only). The room is perfect for a romantic getaway.
The staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast (included) was amazing. We had breakfast in the porch, with the beautiful park view and we also enjoyed just looking at the wood work and decor inside then taking a walk in the park right in front of us. We booked a ghost tour with a visit to the Pirate House and they picked us up at the hotel. Later at night when we came back, there was a lovely set up in the lobby with tea, cookies and other sweets that were freshly made and delicious. We just loved the treat!
The only down side is that there aren't too many places to park in the area. We got lucky and moved our car closer a couple hours later but I think it is because they were having some kind of event in the park that day. I will sure stay there again on my next visit to Savannah, there is so much to see there and I also want to stay in the same room next time. The price is very good if you consider other historical places in Savannah, the location (walking distance from everything) and the wonderful breakfast included.

We just returned from 2 days at your lovely inn. We enjoyed it so much. The room was charming and reminded me of a favorite vacation destination from my childhood. The bed was so comfortable, which is always a primary concern with my back. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts, both the sweet and the savory, presented in your beautiful sitting room. To be honest, the front porch and the view of Forsyth park were my reasons for choosing your inn. They did not disappoint. And we loved Sadie. We will be back.

we loved staying here ,the location was perfect -the rooms are exquisite ,breackfast was great & the staff are top-notch
we came here to stay with my 10 yr old son for a concert ,& he was very excited . the Inn is lovely & has the most amazing gardens. My little boy found out about a secret way of entering room to avoid carrying luggage down stairs-he could go in & out window& he thought that was the coolest thing ever! a funny thing happened althought ,we told them upon making reservation,we were broinging a child & upon arrival they knew-no one told the day staff & they were so concered about etan's comfort (that he was sleeping on floor!!!) we assured them ,he traveled with his little aero-bed & was fine,no sleeping on the ground in our family :0 we really loved our stay here & meeting the resident kitty& will stay again -next time we are in Savannah

I have only rave reviews for the Forsyth Park Inn!! While staying true to its historic roots, this inn has a wonderful structure with not too much clutter inside!! The staff were eager to give guidance (when asked) and were quite friendly. The location is optimal with a wonderful view of the Park. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the front porch. A nice plus for my husband was that guests sit at smaller, separate tables for the morning meal, rather than at one large table. We hope to return to this very special place!!

We had a wonderful experience at Forsyth Park Inn. The staff were friendly and very informative. The room was amazing - we had a beautiful view of the park. We met some great people also staying at the Inn. I highly recommend this B&B. Will definitely book it again - would love to bring my children to see Savannah.
