“Dog friendly? Well, kinda.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

This past week we spent two nights at this hotel, which is not called "Rodeway Inn" on the building or signage so we had a hard time finding it. The employees at the front desk are fantastic! Very friendly and helpful, the housekeeper on the other hand, not so much. This is a dog friendly hotel, there were several guests with dogs, BUT the housekeeper is afraid of dogs and refuses to clean rooms with dogs in them, even crated. She wasn't even sorry, had she been regretful maybe I could have let it go, but she acted like I caused this inconvenience, not her. I paid $40 extra bucks to have my dogs, I would have liked some housekeeping to go with it!!!!! Was this not a deal breaker in the job interview? She told me she would leave a bag of towels on my door handle for me -- she left 2 bath towels, nothing else. There were three of us, no wash rags or hand towels even. Luckily I was able to get some from the front desk, but in my opinion that was unacceptable. There was one ice maker in the entire facility that actually worked, in the opposite corner of the hotel; our phone wasn't even plugged in when we got there, it didn't work, that's why. I could go on... The pool was nice enough, the courtyard was green and lush, the lobby was beautiful, the breakfast was barely worth it, coffee was gone by 8 am with no one making more. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one is necessary.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balcony's and patio's overlooking the pool.
