“Elegant small inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014

The concept is unique - Each room is decorated in a style appropriate to a particular president. We stayed in the Lyndan Johnson room. It was large and elegant. For breakfast, there is a different hot entree choice each day or you can have he granola, fruit and yogurt choice (always the same). There is wine and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Staff was friendly and helpful and gave good suggestions for restaurants.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed great. Not all the same rate, however - Clinton room was pricier. No fitness center...

In addition to havng a beautiful room, that smelled wonderful and clean, the hosts put out wine and cheese at 4:00 each afternoon for a few hours so it made coming "home" after a busy day, even more special. What a nice touch! Would hope to get back to Savannah, and if I do, this is where I'd stay.

My husband and I met our friends from Virginia at the Presidents Quarters, the first week in April, to spend a few days together in Savannah. There are many great B&BS in Savannah, but what sets PQ apart from the others is the amazing staff. Jane and her staff, Connie, Eddie, Marie, April, Anne, etc. were very helpful, friendly, yet professional. They made you feel like you were guest in their home. My husband is still talking about the Breakfast BLT!

This place has character and service which is well above average. I would have given this 5 stars however my room ( Carter room) has no soundproofing between it and the small kitchen so we were awakened early every morning. Be careful about selecting this room on their website as there is no mention of the noise. Apart from that, everything else was perfect.

My Girlfriend Group of 7 had the privilege of staying here 4 nights in late March. Delightful, accommodating, friendly, and helpful are just a few adjectives to describe this great B&B ! The advance help from the front desk in making dinner reservations and other advice was truly appreciated. Connie even listened to our complaints about the non-service at The Olde Pink House......what a disaster !! And the location couldn't be more perfect. All in all, a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy gorgeous Savannah in the spring. I'll be back !!!!!

Room Tip: The Truman Suite was super, but my companions stayed in other rooms that were very nice also.

Six girlfriends and I spent a long weekend here, and it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and so helpful in every way. Breakfast was a treat every morning. Turn-down service at night with homemade cookies. Yummy appetizers and plenty of wine each evening. Lots of towels. Very quiet. It would be a wonderful place to return for a romantic weekend with hubby.

Room Tip: On the ground floor, you may hear the clip-clop of the carriage horses going by.

The Presidents' Quarters in Savannah was a quiet, lovely haven in Savannah. Everyone on staff went out of their way every day to make us feel not only welcomed, but like family. Not only did they serve excellent breakfasts every morning, but appetizers in the late afternoon where guests gathered and chatted--by far the most sociable B&B I have ever experienced, but never intrusive. Cannot say enough good about the staff!!!
