Agreeing with another review this place is an unassuming local winner. I heard about it through a friend and I was on a trolley tour so I stopped off near the Bean. I went in around brunch so I had their frittata special and a latte. You could tell there was an interesting mix of locals, tourists, and travelers alike. That night they were hosting a coffee tasting and information seminar on fair trade coffee--i didnt make it but wish I had--its good to know places that offer this type of coffee encourage education surrounding it. There were lots of types of coffee from all over the world and, bulletin boards describing the local events, and a gritty undertone.
