“Feel at Home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

This is the perfect place to meet friends and family. An old place with all it's southern charm. Staff was very accommodating, Breakfast was very good . I stayed there alone and I felt as if I was at home. I was there before May 2012 but it is the oldest option to choose.

Room Tip: You must have the Breakfast.

McFeeFest 25 was held here in early March 2013 and thank goodness we picked a great spot for our silver anniversary! There were nearly two dozen of us to be picky about something and I heard not one complaint. (A record, for those of you who don't know my family!) Everyone gushed about their rooms and the location. Visiting all the different rooms was entertainment in and of itself. Jasper House was perfect for gathering. The city was as charming and genteel as could be hoped and the staff at the B&B was kind and accommodating - from letting us in in the dead of night without any grumpiness to bringing breakfast down to Jasper House so we could all sit together and not disturb the rest of the full house to arranging for a tour bus to come by and get us.

Room Tip: These are historic old buildings with steep stairs and no elevator. Be prepared - or ask for one of...

We stayed at the Savannah B&B Inn for four nights while visiting Savannah. We rented the Live Oak Room, which offered a unique experience of living in an old historic home. Our room was nearly 800 sq ft including an antique filled living room and dinning room, with views over looking Chatham Square. The room showed some wear and tear, and the bathroom and kitchen could use some updates. Also, when we walked into our room they had noisy portable humidifiers running. At closer inspection, the water pan was filled with moldy water, which was blowing around in the room, no wonder my allergies were acting up! The breakfast was better than I expected and made hot each morning with new options daily. While finding a seat and getting served breakfast seemed a little disorganized the first day or two, it seemed to get better. Recommend skipping the breakfast rush and going early or late. The B&B was in a nice residential location in the historic district and blocks to Forsyth Park, and easily walkable to the River Walk.

Charming, lovely, great breakfast. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was homey and relaxing. I truly needed a rest and this was absolutely perfect. Cute was that Holly checked us in and we stayed in the Holly Room. Breakfast was gorgeous ,tasty, and cooked to order by young, hip, energetic staff. The rooms were smaller and we had to climb lots of stairs, but what can you expect at Aunties? It was clean, and furnishings were tasteful. We walked to Paula Deens restaurant, and felt good coming back to this place instead of a stuffy ole hotel where no one knows you. Its a keeper and I would love to bring my baby girl back for a visit. Oh and the turtle crossing signs were delightful..

Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn was home for 2 nights whilst in Savannah. It is in a quiet and attractive part of town (although most of Savannah is attractive) yet within easy walking distance of Savannah's other attractions. The welcome is lovely and the service low-key and unobtrusive. The place is comfortable and furnished in some style and the price, by comparison to other bed and breakfasts on our trip, (South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana) was good value, neither being the cheapest or the most expensive.

This is a lovely spot to stay in Savannah. In the midst of the charming squares and within in walking distance of Forsyth Park, historic houses to tour, cafes and shops. If you want the real feel of the historic district this is a great choice. Great hot breakfasts, afternoon tea and cookies at 8 pm!
I would agree with other reviews that when the weather isn't good enough to sit outside the dining room can be crowded and we had to wait for seating. I don't need a big buffet for breakfast so I was happy with the food choices and felt it was well prepared and substantial.
This is a beautiful old building - things like a big bathroom and endless hot water seem unrealistic. If you want that go to a Holiday Inn.
We enjoyed seeing the riverfront district, but I'm really glad we didn't stay in that part of Savannah - it's too busy and crowded down there.
I would stay here again, Savannah is a wonderful place to visit!

This was a good place to stay in Savannah. Good, not great. Great would have been all the hot water I could stand, an iron that didn't mark up my clothes and breakfast inside when it is cold outside... they don't have enough inside seating. Other than those three things, I would recommend this place. Reasonable price and very well located.
