Had a great time, however during breakfast there was not enough tables and chairs available to dine.

Dear Traveler,
Thank you for taking your time to write a review. We truly appreciate it. I apologize if there wasn't enough tables and chairs during breakfast time. With full occupancy our breakfast room can get pretty busy due to space restraints and to the fact that some customers like to take their time to really enjoy our complimentary breakfast which offers a wide variety of breakfast items.
We hope that you will choose Baymont again,
Irina

A friend & I stayed at this Baymont Feb. 15-18. We had a reservation for a room with 2 queen beds; the day before our arrival I received a phone call from Mary, the manager, that somehow rooms were overbooked and the only room available was one with a king bed. I was a little disappointed since this stay was not with a girlfriend, not hubby, and we would have also preferred a larger room that the 2 queen beds would have. I got on a waiting list to get us back in the 2 queen bedroom that we had reserved, but upon arrival, none were available. We had a Fri. night reservation booked with the Baymont website & the next 2 nights with a hotels.com reservation (since it was a better price for those 2 nights.) We could have changed on Sat. to a room with 2 queen beds, but it was easier to stay with the king bed. Although disappointed we didn't get what we reserved, I was pleased that Mary called us before our arrival. The room truly had a king size bed (I've stayed before in hotels that claimed a king but actually was a queen) and the room was a very good size. We were on the 2nd floor and it worked out great; good value to have a room with microwave & frig. We didn't use the microwave, but we did use the frig. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The styrofoam coffee cups were the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel breakfast buffet, maybe just about 6 oz. Really? They couldn't have used the larger size? Better to bring your own travel mug. Waffles were good, would have been nice to have eggs or sausage, maybe not every day, but just offering waffles, cold cereal, pastries, toast, biscuits, too many carbs, but at least there was bananas & apples. Breakfast is over at 9 am; would have been nice to have it offered till 9:30 or 10:00 on Sat. & Sun. Having the shuttle was an added bonus; yes, it is on a schedule but it worked out fine. We used the shuttle on Sat. and liked not having to find parking in Savannah. Hotel is not that far from the historic district & drops off/picks up at the Hyatt Regency on Bay St. - good location. Overall, this
Baymont is a good value, friendly staff, good customer service and convenient. I'd stay here again.

Our first morning breakfast was very poor. They were out of raisin bran, both juices were empty and the bananas were vry over riped.
I spoke to the girl at the desk and she said they were out of cereal, and the vendor needed to come to refill the juices.
Our safety lock was falling of the door.

We had stay 4 night at 2 Comfor Inn and they were far better and the same price.

No one was around to clean up the tables after someone finished eating and left.
