“Delicious food, good beer, very crowded”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Went there to watch the Packers game and we were told we had to move tables because we couldn't sit there that long. Ordered more food, which was delicious! Our waitress was very funny and helped ease the situation, but the staff in charge were not as accommodating.

“The Ghosts brought us in, the food brought us back!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

As big fans of the show Ghost Adventures, this place was our first stop after checking in at the hotel. We started with a Twisted Monkey and a Moon River Mary, which was by far the best Bloody Mary I have had in a bar. For an appetizer we split the cajun shrimp over italian sausage ravioli and it was delicious. The shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly and the ravioli had a good flavor to it. For our entrees we decided to share the open faced crab melt and the sausage and potatoes. The crab melt was beyond good and not one shell. The choices of sausage were nice and the gouda scalloped potatoes were very creamy and tasty. As it was a brew pub we tried the Apparition Ale and the Wit Wacky or Wacky Wit and both were good, but I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I went back to the Moon River Mary...and again the next day for another! We also bought the Screaming Pickle Sauce so that we could come home and try to replicate them at home. It is a little disappointing you can't go upstairs unless you are on a walking tour and there was a private party downstairs so we couldn't go to the basement either, but it's understandable. We did get a bit of a spook though when we returned to our hotel room and were flipping through the channels and found the Moon River episode of Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel...what are the odds of that?

“Great Food, beverages & atmosphere......”

A group of us went on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful time. Garlic fries, hamburger salad, onion rings and sweet potatoe fries were awesome. Service was great.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We visited savannah in Feb 2012, dropped into the moon river brewing company bar as part of a ghost tour and then later came back and had some appetizers and a few pints. great bar food and great ambiance. Next morning very early in the morning I had taken pictures of the building and did not notice the image in the window, some folks can see it right away others cannot see anything

“Very Good and Interesting Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Moon River is one of Savannah's micro breweries and soon to have an outdoor Beer Garden. We usually end up there several times a month. Their " Bellywasher" Ale is our favorite. We recently had their Green Tomato and Crab Salad also we had their St. Louis Ribs. Both were excellent. Nice atmosphere and large TVs to view the games!
