“Starving to Death”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

We made it into Savannah after 13 hours in the car (driving from Indy) and decided to stop here because it was right across from the parking lot.

We checked out the menu with the courteous hosts and decided it was fine because we were starving. Our waiter was Joel. He seemed new and anxious but sweet.

Our dads needed an adult beverage, so they each got the signature Chatham Artillery Punch which they loved. Joel brought the bread very late after we requested it after receiving our meals. The bread was excellent, especially the cheese butter.

The crab stuffed shrimp was excellent; the clam chowder was just okay; the vegetable platter was very measly; seafood stew just okay. The tap water here, for whatever reason, seemed amazingly good!!

Atmosphere was beautiful, especially dining waterside at night. Overall the prices were high for what we got, and everything generally was just okay. Slow service.

“Nothing special here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Only good thing is location near the river. Shrimp cocktail was below average. Peel and eat shrimp entree was also below average. Better shrimp at Sam's Wholesale Club

“First time to Savannah,GA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Stopped at the Visitors Center and one of the staffers recommended this place. No doubt that the food was really. I would say it was a bit on the expensive side but tasty and the service was very good. This restaurant was on River St which is really touristy. That may explain the prices. The house salad is very good and my shrimp were also good. My wife liked her calamari. Had we not been going to drive to South Carolina I would have tried the special house drink: The Chatham Artillery Punch! One punch one KO or so they say. Maybe next time.

“Not worth the price.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

This used to be a much better restaurant. I think the new ownership ruined it. Definitely not worth the prices they charge.
