“Great value and great service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

The service was terrific and the value was incredible. A few of the innovative desserts were the reason that my assistants had to get boxes for the main course . . . they had to have the desserts. It was worth every bite. The service was what was very good.

“The food was great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

I like the menu and the service, though it is always packed, and I don't like the wait. I will have to go again when the parking lot is not full.

“Bread to die for, Warm, inviting, smells divine, INcredible Scampi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

OK, to start with, you get excellent food at a reasonable price in a pleasant atmosphere with good, attentive waitstaff--and that is just the beginning. I'm a big bread fan, and the fresh-baked, moist, dense inside and crispy crust on their bread is made even more heavenly by the virgin olive oil and herb pesto they give you for dipping--seriously, you could make a meal on just that! The house salad is delicious, fresh and tasty and they have no problem with your asking for extra olives and onions and extra dressing on the side! As for the appetizers, they honestly serve the BEST shrimp scampi I've ever had! It makes the pale, watery stuff that passes for scampi at most restaurants (pay attention Red Lobster) look like cat food. Several BIG, tender shrimp in a rich buttery, lemony, garlic sauce---I order this with their salad for a light dinner--you'll end up fighting anyone at the table over this sauce--get your own! Add a touch of their freshly grated Parmesan over it and you have Heaven-in-a-dish! It comes with golden, toasted garlic bread that is so rich,...well, you'll be amazed--the dish is superb all around! Their calamari is delicately fried and tender--don't be surprised to see the little mini-calamari in there too, not just the rings--definitely worth the price! Their Insalata Fiorucci and Insalata Johnny Rocco make a wonderful meal if you don't want anything heavy, with their fresh, tasty ingredients and a chilled martini. Any of their Marsala dishes (especially the chicken) are tender, tasty and wonderful, as well as their seafood or chicken & spinach cannelloni. Rich and full of flavor! Don't hesitate to try their weekly specials, especially the fish! I had a red snapper with garlic cream and sun-dried tomatoes that blew me away! Their tiramisu is also wonderful: delicately flavorful and creamy! If you want just a little taste of something sweet, they have mini-desserts called Baccino (little kisses!) for maybe 2.50 each--try each one! All of them are excellent! For what you pay you get so much delicious, well-cooked , tasty food, with a good wine list, fine vodka martinis served just right, EXCELLENT bread (if you want, they will wrap up some slices for you and put it in a take-out bag, along with some of their wonderful olive oil and a separate little cup of the herbs---how great is that??) This place is good for either an elegant evening out or just when you want something well-prepared and sumptuous, but not over-priced. Warning: Holidays like Valentine's and Mother's Day they're mobbed, so go early to get a seat. Even if you have to wait, though, it is WORTH it!

“Always good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

The wait staff is always on the ball, and the tea is always great. However, the portions are shrinking and prices are rising. Also, the sogno dessert is not as good as it used to be- chocolate does not taste as dark and decadent.
