This was one of the places we ate in Savannah where locals (and discerning locals at that!) eat. We had a fantastic brunch. You can expect things like crab grits, omelets with salmon, and locally baked muffins. The place is small, so you will likely have to wait for a table, but it is worth it.

Our horse-and-buggy tour driver mentioned this restaurant as one of her favorites, so we gave it a try for breakfast on Sunday. We were happy we did! It's a cute little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and some unusual menu items. Try the Eggs Doolittle, which combines poached eggs, spinach, crab, artichokes and hollandaise sause. The eggs and crab Benedict was also wonderful. The walk back to our hotel was enjoyable but fairly long, which was a good thing, because it helped us burn off some of the kajillion calories we consumed at breakfast!

This is one of the best little finds in Savannah! My husband and I were looking for a casual, hip little place for dinner and were so happy with the Firefly.

We ordered two pasta dishes: 1) a cavatelli with broccoli, sundried tomato, garlic and parmesan, and 2) a linguini with caramelized onions, goat cheese, shrimp and mushrooms. The sauce on the second dish was out of this world - my husband is still talking about it. For dessert, we split a peach bread pudding that was very rich and tasty. Note that there is also a pretty good wine list to choose from.

If we're in Savannah again, this is going to be a regular stop for us!

I spent my 30th birthday dinner at The Firefly Cafe and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the casual, neighborhood cafe atmosphere, and it's in a great location for an after dinner stroll. The service was great and the portions were generous. We would definitely like to come back again for brunch or outside seating! Highly recommended.

We recently had the opportunity to visit Savannah and decided on trying the Firefly Cafe for dinner after reading the reveiws from TripAdvisor. This cafe was truely a great find! The decor and ambiance of the Firefly was eclectic, but very stylish. The wait staff was very efficient and answered any questions that we had about the menu. The music that they had playing that night in the background was a slow jazz and very soothing to listen to while we waited for our meal. When the meals arrived is when the real treat ensued. Our meals were FABULOUS! My daughter got a shrimp pasta that was prepared "burmese style", my husband had the london broil and i had chosen the "greek" salad. All were superb. I wouldn't hesitate to steer anyone in the direction of this wonderful establishment on Habersham.....don't miss it!!!!!
