My husband and I walked from the riverfront which was wonderful as it allowed us to walk through many of Savannah's beautiful squares. Do not walk back to your hotel after dusk. We lucked out and were served by one of the owners of the restaurant, who was charming, extremely knowledgeable and made our evening extra special. The food was everything that we had been told it would be, in other words superb which given the price, it should be. I recommend the wild mushroom soup, you will remember it for a long time. I had wonderful scallops and my husband had superb grouper and boconcini and tomato salad as a starter which were excellent.
The meals came with a complimentary, beautifully fresh but smallish salad. Although we did not have desserts, we saw a number of them and they are hard to resist.
Would definitely eat here again. Make reservations well in advance or you will not get in.
