“drinks at the basement bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2015 NEW

This bar is awesome. Came before dinner on a Saturday night. Live jazz duo in the corner setting a relaxed mood, well made drinks and well dressed patrons. I am definitely coming back to this place and ill probably stay for dinner next time.

“Olde Pink House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW

This was our third trip to the Pink House for dinner. We love coming here and have in the past always been more than pleased. This last visit left a little to be desired compared to previous visits. Still I would recommend, everyone has a bad day. We will go back.

“Good food, super atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW

We asked our concierge for a recommendation at to where to eat - he checked his computer, told us that the Pink House had just had a cancellation, and we could have it if we could get there in 15 minutes. A short stroll to work up our appetite, and we walked in and sat down (ahead of all the people that were waiting). It's a very special place to eat, being over 200 years old. (We were upstairs in the master bedroom.) Food was very good with an interesting variety on the menu. Service was also very good, although not particularly speedy - but then you don't want to rush your dining experience there. Highly recommended

“Loved it..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW

The staff was very friendly, they were happy to suggest the fried green tomatoes and explain to us novice how they were prepared. the Bloody Mary's were delish. The staff invited us to look into the rooms of the Pink house. We also went back another evening to the bar below and it was so unique but a little to crowded with couples for 2 gals. We moved on.

“Eat in the Basement, if you want cozy and the same superb food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW

We decided not to reserve in one of the "finer" rooms that serve excellent cuisine, and took our chances with the original basement of the house, where the kitchen used to be, and where the first bank vault in Savannah is. Ate at the bar, though we didn't have to - and an older woman in the brimmed hat and flowing dress played jazz piano and sang old standards. Terrific! If you want to have a low ceiling, and a sense of camaraderie, this is the place. Need reservations for a table, though.
