Stayed two nights in this beautifully renovated old factory loft style hotel. The ceilings in our 3rd floor bedroom must have been 20 - 25 feet high. Brick walls inside, nice furnishings, very comfortable bed and pillows. Probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Staff was super friendly, polite, yet professional. Place is immaculate inside and out. A/C in room cooled quickly, given the huge size of the room. Only minor is that our room, in the front corner, was quite noisy from the road traffic in the morning, even with drapes closed and A/C on high. Furnishings in room looked very elegant, and bed/pillows were nice and comfortable. Nice couch and chair for sitting. Large screen TV in "high boy" across from bed, can pull out and turn TV to adjust angle. Ironing board and iron did take up most of limited closet area in the "high boy", though drawer space was fine. Bathroom also nice and clean. Very bright inside, even though no window. Breakfast bar very good and staff very helpful for extra plates, ketchup, etc. Afternoon wine and cheese reception was OK. Free bottled water from the desk was a nice extra. Note that parking area only holds around 10-12 cars - I had to park in the multi-story car park around the corner, though they gave me a "length of stay" pass for $ 12 - I think allows in/out privileges (I moved my car later the first night to open spot in hotel's lot.) Right in the middle of the Historic District. Staying here was like going back in time to the elegance of the Old South of 150 years ago. I loved this hotel, and I'm sure other couples will as well!
