“A School for the Creative Mind”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

The design atmosphere at SCAD is for the individuality of each student. Many come form all over the world, and the final product of their contribution to this area is felt all over the world.

“Beautiful Contemporary Structure amid 1700 ruins”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

SCAD does it again! The Museum is a clean-lined, light permeated structure built within old edifice walls. Having Andre Leon Talley, editor of Vogue as one of their curators brings a certain sofistication to their exibits. The changing art and student docents for each room is fab! A must see for a local or visitor to Savannah!

“Impressive school and art museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013 via mobile

This is a wonderful opportunity to see top exhibits. It is also worthwhile to see some of the individual art and design exhibits of the students themselves, over at the college. Attend one of the open houses, with a student to experience an incide look at the various programs.

“The good and the bad . .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

They did a great job with the building renovation, the exhibits are always well done. If you like having your ear talked off by the over zealous docents while you are trying to look at the art, the you'll love it. They are certainly knowledgable in their training about whatever show is up. If you prefer enjoying the art in your own silence, be prepared to constantly shoe away the ever present docent coming up to you and not "asking" if you'd like more info, but launching right into "telling" you more info. It is annoying and pretentious, but apparently what they've been told to do.

“Wonderful Art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

SCAD is #2 in the US for Art and Design studies. Students have to be talented in order to get admitted in the first place. With daily instruction, they excell and this museum is not to be missed on your trip to Savannah if you are an Art Lover. Take a ride on one of the Trolleys and they will tell you more about the school itself.
