I originally booked our hotel through hotels.com for the Fairfield Inn down the road, but our room was not the handicap accessible room I requested and all their handicap accessible rooms were sold out. We drove to the Hampton Inn after 2 previous hotels were sold out. Not only did the staff work with us in finding a handicap accessible room, but they also gave us a discount. The hotel was beautiful, and very clean. It is also in a very good location to downtown Savannah. Its about 30 min from Tybee Island but we only went to the beach for a day so it wasn't a bad drive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to Savannah!
