“Savannah Dan is the Man!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

If you're in Savannah, going on a walking tour with Savannah Dan is a must. He knows EVERYTHING about Savannah and is entertaining at the same time. He gives individual helpful hints about the city. We loved every second of the tour.

“Do not go to Savannah without going on this tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

It was so much fun and gave us great ideas on what else we wanted to see. He is hilarious and irrevent, which really gives you a tongue in cheek sense of the southern way. Sign up now!!!

“Learn and be entertained.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014 via mobile

Dan's nearly two-hour tour is an amazing feat, if only for the fact that you witness his LOL delivery in a seersucker suit, in the sweltering heat. We learned so much, and were thoroughly entertained. He is humble and gracious. His last words to us were a caution against embellishing his abilities, because he doesn't want to disappoint anyone. You will not be disappointed.

“A great way to see the historic district and learn something too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Making a reservation was easy and didn't require a credit card or anything. They have a tour at 10 am or 2 pm every day except Sunday. He has a policy that you only pay him if you enjoyed yourself. $25 per person person is a little expensive considering you're doing all the walking yourself (as opposed to the many carriage/trolley tours that are offered in town), but we definitely enjoyed the tour. Savannah Dan dresses in the "stereotypical" Southern attire of seersucker, bowtie, and hat, which adds a little fun and whimsy to the tour. He is funny and charming, and definitely knows his stuff! He seemed to know everyone in town, as multiple people stopped to chat with him while we were on the tour, which was kinda cool. He didn't really offer many opportunities to ask questions, so if you're itching to ask something, just try to catch up with him as you're walking from one location to the next and ask....he did have an answer to just about everything we could throw at him, including recommendations for places to eat, etc. There was no stopping to use the restroom or get a drink, so make sure you've taken care of all that before the tour. I'd definitely recommend this as a way to get a historical overview of this wonderful city!

“Walking the historic squares savannah”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Savannah Dan knows the city well and gave us a wonderful historic introduction to Savannah. We walked through the major squares, the center of city life. He knows the history well, and on the way gave a good introduction to other things to do in the city. Well recommended. About 2 hours. Easily managed.
