Took the ghost tour here on 8/13/13. It was...okay. Basically, you start out upstairs, watch a quick video explaining the history of the house, and then are allowed to go into a couple rooms to take pictures. Afterwards, you are led down into the pitch black basement to stumble around and take more pictures. A small handful of people will be handed EMF detectors which are supposed to be shared throughout the tour. After some time in the basement, the group is brought over to the carriage house for more photo opportunities, and then the tour ends. In every room of the tour, our guide informed us about countless individuals who have captured ghosts in their photographs on past tours and pointed out exactly where these ghosts were seen. There were supposedly photographs of ghosts sitting on various pieces of furniture, ghosts posing in people's group photos, ghosts in mirrors, etc. I personally believe in the paranormal, however I found it hard to believe that SO many people have captured clear photographs of ghosts inside this house...not orbs, but actual ghostly figures...and yet none of these photographs were shown to us. I'll admit, being in the completely dark basement and hearing stories of ghost sightings was fairly creepy, however. Overall I'd say this tour is fine for people who want to hear some ghost stories, act like ghost hunters, and maybe get a little creeped out. For those who truly believe in the paranormal, there are better, less gimmicky tours out there.
