We arrived later than anticipated and the staff was went out of their way to get us checked in quickly and with ease. The bellhop even ran across the street to show us where to park, took our luggage and went back with the parking pass and locked our vehicle. The breakfast in the courtyard is not to be missed. Virginia is an excellent cook and the staff was always willing to provide you anything you needed. We were also pleasantly surprised with the coffee and dessert in the evening. Room was rather small but not unusual for a historic property. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the courtyard was beautiful. I enjoyed hearing the fountain at night and felt it helped block out some of the noise of other patrons.
