“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Out of the 3 nights I stayed in Savannah, we were here everyday! They have the most delicious chocolate....chocolate martinis, chocolate creme brulee, chocolate cake. It's very good! They also have very well made Irish Coffees. My mom got one a day. I enjoyed the toasted almond coffee, I believe that's what it was called. Very yummy! As far as the martinis go, I loved the Chocolate Cherry Martini. Delicious! We tried a variety of desserts as well, but the best was by far the creme brulees. The chocolate was our favorite. Lulu's is a staple for any Savannah trip!

“Weird Place, moderate food. Understaffed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Stopped on Saturday night for a late dessert. The outside hostess was limiting people that could enter and order carryout. Really? We got ours to go and it was underwhelming. $9.00 for a piece of cake? I watched dad's eyes pop when their kids ordered food. Not a family place to stop after dinner.

“Mmm.. Need Chocolate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

We stopped in after dinner and this place was hoppin! We found a cute little table for two and had the flourless chocolate torte and a couple of drinks. My husband didn't love his drink (B-52), but it was more on preference and not that it wasn't good.. Just too sweet for his taste. The server, Trey, did try to remedy it by adding black coffee. That was nice. I opted for a glass of red wine. You can never go wrong with wine and chocolate! We only tried the one dessert, so I can't speak for variety or quality of others. But we enjoyed ours. Cute place and friendly service.

“WOW Get Your Chocolate Fix Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

You could become a chocoholic after indulging at this place! Cute little shop with seating indoors or out. Great atmosphere with a Huge old crystal chandelier after you enter. You are greeted by the friendly staff as soon as you enter. Free samples are available. You can take out or dine in. Chocolate covered huge strawberries, different flavor a of creme brûlée, chocolate tortes and assorted cakes by the slice. What a decadent fun place. KT was so helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable! She is a great asset to LuLu's.

“Disappointing desserts, at best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Maybe it's a case of high expectations or how can any dessert go wrong.
Funky and young does not have to be messy and whatever service.
The homemade desserts (no drinks) inspired us to go home and bake it ourselves.
The coconut cake was dried out and/or not fresh. The flour less chocolate cake was favorable yet not as first class as one would like. The other dessert, obviously, less memorable, I can't even recall now. The service was whatever… Will not return. Desserts at The Diner on Abercorn remain our best pick for evening or 24 hour fresh and homemade luscious desserts. One should be able to taste the cook's passion for taste in each and every memorable bite of each and every dessert.
