The tour was so informative. The guides answered many additional questions and were extremely knowledgeable. The house is well worth seeing for its sheer elaborateness.

“Beautiful Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

Lovely home. The home was the venue for a tea included in the NOGS Hidden Garden Tour. Elegant furnishings. Garden Club hosts were charming and accommodating to our every need.

“What a treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Built in 1853 this house is preserved so well you might believe you were transported back in time. Used by St. Johns next door when it is not open for visitors it remains a living breathing structure fill with 19th century furniture. Of course its claim to fame(or shame) is that it was occupied by General Sherman on his "Great March to the Sea"
