“Johnson Square”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Busy in a good way. Watch for the horse and carriages in the street as you walk. Nice for taking photos. The historic Christ Church and the Bank of America building are there.

“Great square”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

This is one of the busier squares in town. This is because of its location. Its still a great place to sit down and rest for a few while you are touring Savannah.

“Busy!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

Busy square, due to being a walk thru by tourists. And the area surrounding it is more businesses than homes. But big and a nice place to watch people!!!!

“Oldest square in Savannah”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

This is Savannah's first square, laid out in 1733. It has some spectacular large live oak trees. It is a nice respite downtown near several banks around the square. My wife and I also walked through Johnson Square one evening this past August on a pleasant summer night. It was alive with activity at ten o'clock. Try to take in as many of the squares as you can when you visit Savannah. They are really unique and in my opinoin add so much to the appeal of Savannah.
