“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

A must for fans of "midnight" or southern beauty. Full of lovely antiques, history and antecdotes. Consider that the Biltmore in Ashevills charges $50 a head this is a good value

“What a beautiful house!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

My wife and I toured the Mercer Williams House during our stay in Savannah. Our tour guide was very informative and knew a lot about the details of the house. The house is a real gem and there are priceless artifacts to see. I would highly recommend taking a tour of this exquisite home. Two negatives for me...the price is a little steep for such a short tour and I think the tour groups should be smaller; we sometimes had trouble fitting everyone into the rooms. Overall, another great attraction in Savannah.

“Interesting tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

We decided to take this tour because of the movie In the Garden of Good and Evil. The tour guide was okay at sharing the story of the house, but the artifacts in the house are amazing. There are quite a few valuable pieces that are truly unique.

The price of the tour is not too bad. It is comparable to other home tours we have taken. It is worth the extra long walk from the River Street area.

“Not so much now...???”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

I notice most of the negative reviews the "crime" are from the early to mid 2000's.. maybe they paid attention... I visited the house a few years back, maybe around 2009 or 2010. I don't know if it was a different tour guide or if they've loosened up, but our guide was more forthright in discussing the office ("scene of the crime"), the murder, the book, the movie, the flag... all of it. It's a spectacular house, rivaled IMHO only by the "Green" house--which everyone visiting Savannah should see, and the guide was great. Either way, for any Midnight fan, it's a must see.
